  • irl?

i am from Angola so I can speak Portuguese as well, although my English is far better

i studied in the US for 5 years and majored in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science

my real name is Daniel; you may call me that instead if you’d like ;3 also just turned 26!

  • how did you come up with your artist name? how do you pronounce it?

i randomly picked out “bonjour” from duolingo and shortened it (i was copying octbr), but then the project actually took off… woops!

  • can i use your music for my YouTube video?

yes! you may use my music as long as you credit all the artists properly ^^

if you’re just uploading to YouTube and don’t care about the money, then you’re good to go!

but if you’d like to monetize your content, then you’ll have to license the song

  • can i sample your music in my song?

yes, as long as you’re not monetizing it i.e. releasing it to stores (Spotify, Apple, etc.)

if you’d like to monetize your song, then you’ll have to obtain a license (clear the sample)

  • do you take commissions?

sometimes… reach out to me to see if i’m available (or in the mood really lol)

    type of work i do:
    - create a custom song for you
    - mix/master your song

  • can you teach me how to make music?

i do not do private 1-on-1 sessions (yet 😳😳), but i do have several videos available on youtube that go over a lot of my projects!

i plan on putting out more beginner friendly videos in the future so hopefully those will help ;)
