“angel (bonjr remix)”

the process of creating this DNAKM remix was quite similar to when i made the paranoia ??? remix and the fact that it turned out so great easily makes this another one of my favorite projects

a big thank you to Alex Edep for this amazing music video. this is now the second time we’ve worked together and his work continues to amaze me ~(˘▾˘~)

DNAKM also made the lyric video and it’s sooooo good, i love it

“say something”

i made this for a remix competition back in 2016. most of the submissions were wave/trap so i had decided to try something different with the sample they provided and it ended up sounding great ^^

the version on soundcloud also features vocals which i added later to color things up, but officially it does not have any vocals

 

“just finished my finals and this is how i feel”

sometime between sophomore and junior year i made this right after finishing my final exams. i just felt so free after the fact and i think this track reflects that feeling pretty well. the artwork by Erisiar also does a pretty good job of matching the feeling ;)

 

“if only we knew”

this samples two Coldplay tracks so i don’t think it’ll ever make it to stores. i had it on soundcloud for years, but now it’s on youtube as well

i also got it some new artwork <3

“hadiknownsooner”

even after a whole EP with my brother Nekö, as well as this track with versor that uses the same vocal sample he created, it still feels like the sample has so much more to offer

“and for a brief moment, we were—”

i had no plans to release this; dreamscape heard it and thought it was nice ;3 but people seem to be enjoying it so i guess it is kinda nice… youtube’s compression unfortunately messed up the visuals though

 
 

“i want you to help me live”

the title was inspired by a scene from the movie “聲の形 (a silent voice)” and it’s definitely another one of my favorites because of the people involved (versor, thomas reid) and the story of how we created this song

 
 

“if it’s real, then i’ll stay”

back in 2019, I came up with some chords and randomly decided to record myself humming a few ideas. i thought I'd send the track off to someone who can actually sing, but it ended up being released as it was

 

“it’s ok, you’re ok”

i initially made this song as a message to myself, but turns out that message was perhaps meant for more than just me and that has been so beautiful to see ;)

“Far Away”

had an awesome opportunity to work with Annamarie Rosanio and this was also the first time i worked with Aurora Vibes i think ;o

we also got an absolutely stunning music video made for it by Andrew James

 

“paranoia ??? (bonjr Remix)”

this remix for yui just continues to grow on me; it’s definitely becoming an all time favorite of mine. i want to make a “making of” video that goes over everything about it because i think it’s an interesting story ;3

 

“echo complex”

i think i came across singular balance around 2018 and my first dm was me asking him if his “dreaming, to bend time” album would be uploaded to spotify (highly recommend btw)

we instantly clicked and have become really close friends over the years

it was only 15 days after we met that this track was released. this was also the first time i used my own voice without it sounding absolutely terrible haha

“someday we’ll be together again”

i once participated in a Twitch beat battle and submitted this song. it ended up beating out another artist with like 20,000 followers on soundcloud (when i had maybe less than 1,000). that’s when i realized i should maybe try share my music with more people

originally, the song sampled Ryan Tedder’s vocals from “Calling” by Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso, but I removed all the uncleared samples so I could release it to stores

getting those samples all cleared would be an absolute dream however ;)
